Unity House welcomes three new board members

Unity House is delighted to introduce three new leaders who joined the board of directors in January 2026:

Catherine Diviney is a partner in the health law department of Hancock Estabrook, LLP in Syracuse. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and earned her juris doctor, magna cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law. Cathy is a member of several bar associations and also serves as a board member of Hospice of CNY and the Finger Lakes, and the Health Foundation of Western and Central New York.

“Unity House is an excellent organization that provides essential services to our community. I look forward to working with fellow board members and the Unity House executive team to help ensure continued access to and enhancement of services to our community.”

Jeffrey Eaton practices municipal, corporate, and real estate law with Costello, Cooney & Fearon of Syracuse. Previously, he was senior counsel with Bond, Schoeneck & King, LLP, and the Thurston Law Office in Auburn. Jeff holds bar memberships in New York, California, and Illinois. He earned a B.A. from SUNY at New Paltz, and a juris doctor, magna cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Timothy Pacholyk is a former insurance agent and is now an acclaimed wellness coach, public speaker and published author. He owns Pro-Renovation Services in Auburn. His first book, “Learning How To Drive Your Own Bus,” was published in 2023. His second will come out this year. Tim has an A.A.S. degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in writing from Cayuga Community College, and holds numerous trade school certifications.

“I want to shine a light on mental illness and recovery services. I can help tear down barriers and extend a helping hand to people in the throes of addiction.”
